A utensil made of glass, metal, or earthen ware, adapted for distillation. A still. It consists of a body or cucurbit, (F.) cucurbite, chaudiere, to which is attached a head or capital, (F.) chapiteau, and out of this a beak descends laterally to be inserted into the receiver, worm, condenser, or refrigerator, (F.) serpentin, refrigerant, as the case may be.
